Queensland teachers have a choice of many employers. The main ones are:
- Catholic Education
- Independent schools
- Education Queensland
- Overseas schools
- Child Care providers
Each organisation has its own recruitment process and QUT does not become involved in these processes. Students are required to satisfactorily complete all course requirements in order to graduate and apply for Teacher Registration. The recruitment process for employment is separate to both the completion of the final field experience and to registration as a teacher in Queensland.

Reminder: All placements must be arranged through the Field Experience Office. Schools have expressed their preference for dealing with Universities rather than directly with students.
